Program maps

Program maps enable you to plan your semester to ensure you take all the courses required to meet your degree requirements.

New students

If you are a new first-year student or student returning to first-year studies, please select your faculty to view your first year program map.

Returning students

If you are a returning UOIT student, please view the Academic Calendar (for the year you were admitted) or contact your academic advisor.

To confirm your year of study, log into your MyCampus account and follow these steps:

  1. Select UOIT Undergraduate tab.
  2. Under helpful links and beneath registration, select check your registration status.

University/College transfer students

Prior to registration, please log into your Admissions portal to check if you have received transfer credits. If you have questions about how transfer credit may affect your course registration, please contact your faculty's academic advising office for guidance.

Scheduling your labs and tutorials

Some courses will have labs and tutorials which run biweekly (i.e. every other week). Biweekly sections will have a “W1” or “W2” indication, meaning “Week 1” or “Week 2”. For a balanced weekly schedule, it is recommended that you select a combination of Week 1 and Week 2 sections.

It is possible to register for biweekly sections which run on the same day and time, but in alternate weeks. For example, a BIOL 1010U lab on Monday at 8 to 11 a.m. in Week 1, and a CHEM 1010U lab on Monday at 8 to 11 a.m. in Week 2.

Awarded transfer credits?

If you are a new 2017-2018 student that has been awarded transfer credits and have been admitted to upper year standing, please follow the program map for your program that is specified in the current undergraduate calendar or for further clarification, please consult your academic advisor via email.
