How to get a campus ID card

To obtain your campus ID card, visit the Campus ID office (Gordon Willey Building, Room G1004). See Office hours and location for additional locations and extended hours during peak periods and exam weeks throughout the year.

You must present:

  • Your university-produced schedule (can be electronic) to confirm your student ID number.
  • One piece of valid government-issued photo ID such as your driver's licence, passport, Canadian citizenship card, provincial ID card or your BYID card from the LCBO.

Note: We cannot accept high school ID as proof of identification.

We will accept Letters of Acceptance to start your campus ID process, but only after you've completed your registration can your card be printed. Your card will be available immediately, providing you meet all the above requirements.

No ID?

If you don't have the acceptable government-issued photo ID listed above, you must complete and submit a Student Identification Card form [This link will open in a new window.]. Forms are also available on MyCampus and in the Campus ID office, in the Gordon Willey Building, Room G1004. You may also request an electronic copy of this form by emailing

If you don't have acceptable photo ID, you must submit both of the following to the Campus ID office clerk:

  • A completed Student Identification Card form with signed photo.
  • Your university-produced schedule, proof of tuition payment or deferment.
